Objectives:
To place pressure on Bus Eireann to provide a bus service for the south side of the Peninsula on the more convenient day of Friday rather than the current day of Saturday.
To look at the feasibility of a bus service for the northside of the Peninsula on one day a week.

Success to date:
Bus Eireann have placed a bus on the South side route on a Friday. This is on a six month trial basis and started in April 2000. The times are given below.
Please support this service or we will lose it!
Initial investigations into a bus for the northside have led us to a private contractor, who is willing to provide the service if the issue of Old Age Pensioner's passes is sorted out with Bus Eireann and the Department of Social Welfare.
This is work is ongoing.
